Interior and Exterior Detailing

Car Detailing Service for Salt Lake City, UT Drivers

Car detailing is how we take your car from “it’s fine” to “okay, that looks sick.” Whether you drop it off at the shop or book our mobile crew, we dive into the interior and exterior, so every part of your ride gets attention. Inside, we chase down crumbs, dust, spills, and pet hair. Outside, we wash, decontaminate, and boost gloss, so the paint pops in the sun. You’ll step up to your car, open the door, and feel like you’re driving something you want to show off again, not just something that gets you from A to B.

Headlight Restoration

CONTACT US FOR PRICING

Our headlight restoration service starts by choosing the right sandpaper grit for your lenses based on their condition, then sanding and cutting/polishing to clear up oxidation and haze. We finish with ceramic coating for long-lasting clarity, and the whole process typically takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Engine Detailing

CONTACT US FOR PRICING

Our engine detailing service uses foam and degreaser to break down grime, then we let it dwell, agitate, steam, wipe, and inspect so everything’s actually clean, not just shiny. After that, we apply engine dressing and wipe it down for a factory-fresh look under the hood.

Diggz Pre-Service Checklist

What to Do Before Your Car Detailing Appointment

Grab Your Personal Stuff

Before your appointment, take a few minutes to pull out personal items like bags, chargers, mail, clothes, and any loose valuables. It helps us move faster and lets us focus on cleaning instead of sorting your belongings. If you’ve got important things in the door pockets, center console, or trunk, now’s the time to grab them so nothing gets misplaced.

Clear Out Trash and Big Clutter

You don’t have to make it spotless, but tossing out obvious trash like bottles, fast-food bags, and random wrappers goes a long way. It lets us get right to the deep cleaning instead of playing garbage pickup. The less clutter in the way, the more dialed-in we can get with all the cracks, crevices, and hidden spots.

Let Us Know About Problem Areas

If there’s anything specific bugging you, tell us up front. Maybe it is a coffee stain on the seat, pet hair in the back, or road tar on the lower panels. When we know your priorities, we can pay extra attention where it matters most to you and set clear expectations about what can be cleaned up and how far we can take it.

Remove Car Seats If You Can

If you use child seats and you are comfortable taking them out, go ahead and pull them before your appointment. It lets us clean underneath and around those spots more thoroughly. If you prefer to leave them in, that is fine too, just know we may not be able to get under every anchor point and strap as deeply.

Secure Pets and Plan Your Ride

If you are dropping the car off, make sure you have a ride lined up or some time to hang nearby. For mobile jobs, please keep pets inside or in a safe area so they are not underfoot while we work. It keeps everyone safe, helps us move around the vehicle freely, and makes the whole process smoother.

Leave Us Some Space to Work

Whether you’re coming to the shop or booking mobile, try to park or position the vehicle where we have room around all sides. Being able to fully open doors, access the trunk, and get to every panel makes a big difference. If you are in a tight driveway or parking spot, a quick move to a more open spot helps us give you a better result.

Share Any Quirks About Your Vehicle

If your car has sticky door handles, broken switches, warning lights, or aftermarket parts we should be careful around, let us know ahead of time. We want to respect how your vehicle is set up and avoid making anything worse. A quick heads up means we can work smarter and treat those areas with extra care.

Car Detailing Questions?

Discover More From Our Car Detailing FAQs

  • 1. What’s included in car detailing?

Car detailing is an inside-and-out reset, not just a quick wash and vacuum. On the outside, we hand wash, clean wheels and tires, hit the cracks and crevices, and decontaminate the paint, so it feels smooth and looks glossy. Inside, we vacuum seats, carpets, and mats, clean plastics and touch points, treat surfaces with the right products, and clean the glass, so everything feels fresh. The goal is simple: when you step up to your car, it looks and feels way better than a basic wash could ever do.

  • 2. Do you offer both in-shop and mobile detailing?

Yes, we’ve got both. You can drop your vehicle at the shop if you want us to handle everything while you go about your day, or you can book our mobile service, and we’ll come to you if the setup makes sense. Either way, you get the same attention to detail and pro products, just in the way that fits your schedule and situation best.

  • 3. How often should I get my car detailed?

It depends on how you use your ride. Daily drivers, family haulers, and work vehicles usually do well with a bundled detailing packages a few times a year, with lighter maintenance in between. If your car sits in the garage a lot and only comes out on nice days, you might only need a detail once or twice a year. When you keep looking around and thinking, “This thing feels dirty,” that’s your sign it’s time.

  • 4. What’s the difference between detailing and a regular car wash?

A regular wash just gets the loose dirt off. Detailing goes after the stuck-on grime, the interior build up, and all the little spots that make a car feel tired. We use proper tools, safe wash methods, and pro-grade products, so we are not scratching your paint or just moving dirt around. You’ll notice the difference in the shine outside and the way the cabin feels when you sit down.

  • 5. How long does a car detail usually take?

Timing depends on the size of the vehicle and how rough it is when it shows up. A small, fairly clean car will obviously go faster than a dog hauler that hasn’t been touched in months. Plan on being without the vehicle for a good chunk of the day so we can slow down, do it right, and not rush through the details. We care more about handing you back something we’re proud of than racing the clock.
